Does your Amazon only like you and bite everyone else? Of course! Most parrots only bond to one person.

There's an easy fix for that though... Get a cockatoo! A moluccan cockatoo is JUST LIKE a golden retriever, sweet, laid back, completely delightful in all ways, absolutely perfect.

I will definitely have to let my mom know that since her lovebird prefers not to be handled by my dad, the solution is to get him an easy-going bird like an M2.

...

I also like how much information that website has about mental and physical stimulation for parrots. And I never knew that an appropriate cage for a Grey is 20 inches wide and deep with one concrete perch!

This quote is my favorite quote of the day, possibly the month. Everyone needs to toss away their lovebird and get much much easier M2s.

I'll have to tell Marlette that she can't beg for treats and scritches from Brad anymore, or try to step up for him or anything, cuz that website says that she must be a one-person bird again.

...Oh, and every time someone on P_L asks for good apartment birds, we should make African Greys the default answer: As a modern day avian companion, the African Grey fits well into apartments and condominiums due to its small size and quiet nature. o.o

i am soooooo sick of posts from people wanting "good apartment birds" because people will list off certain species, and someone will chime in on every thread saying, "i have a (insert species here) and he is SOOOOO loud!"
i've only halfway been paying attention lately because there seems to be a lot of new bird owners who are asking the same questions that have been asked 43897 times before.

Hey, he's on Youtube. Hrm.

Cockatiels poop once an hour? Well, that's not so bad.

What the FUCK is this guy thinking? Monkeys and parrots TOGETHER? Cats and iguanas? These animals are all babies; there's no way they're desensitized to each other, at all. What a DOUCHEBAG, seriously.

Oh, JESUS FUCKBUGGERING CHRIST.

"Moron" is a good name for this guy.
