A new lesson on Pibbles...
Yesterday, we were told that mean, evil, vicious pit bulls are, in fact, bovine. Well, shortly after reading that, I learned from a VERY educated, reliable source, that they are NOT mammals at all, they are insects!
That's right folks, you may not believe it, but I'll provide some background information, and you WILL be convinced:
I had to go out in my backyard yesterday and take every one of the 300+ rocks out & use a potato scrubber to get algae off (my neighbors think... no, KNOW I'm insane now). As I was going out back, my Grandma (who is 82 years old, so obviously knows more than the reporter who wrote the pit bull/bull story) told me to "watch out for the wasps. They're unpredictable, and will attack you for no reason. They're just like pit bulls."
So there you have it. My Grandma, a sweet old lady, has spoken. And apparently, she has a bit of breedist in her, to go along with her racist (she doesn't HATE other races, but has said that she thinks that "negroes" - as she calls them STILL - are lower, evolutioally , than we are. Its just what she was taught growing up, I know, but still...), and sizist beliefs.
OK, there's a lil' bit o' hostility there... there's a lot of crap going on with Grandma right now. But I won't bog this place down with my octogenarian drama... the story's in my LJ (or will be, once I finish it)
