(no subject)
Took the dogs to the frog pond (Roach's Pond) today. It's a beautiful place, wide trails, and nice scenery. Lots of ducks. :)
It was going decently, until some dumb bint with a doodle on a flexi-lead came towards us. (That was her first mistake, having a doodle, LOL!) As soon as she saw the dogs, she FROZE. Grabbed up her leash and dog and just completely FROZE. Which of course, made Titus want to act like a retard. So he's all 'up and forward'. Java was all 'I wanna see the doggie!!'. So I said to her to keep walking... they'd be fine. So she tentatively stepped ahead, and then when she got RIGHT beside us, she froze again. RIGHT BESIDE US. So of course, when she did this, her dog read her body language, and got all defensive. He barked and growled at Titus, who reacted and jumped ahead at them... yanking me off of my foot, since the ground was uneven. Ty slipped out of my grasp, I sliced my hand on a rock, and he started chasing around her dog, while she repeatedly screamed OH MY GOD at the top of her lungs. Her dog was snapping and snarling, and Titus was circling, barking.
I hollered 'Lady! STOP MOVING and DON'T yell!' (She was just going in circles, yelling!) She stopped, and I was able to quickly grab Ty's lead, and move him out of the way. Once that was done, they were all quiet.
I hollered at her to NEVER freeze up like that and that I had told her to just keep walking past. *shakes head* She stormed off.
I guess it's back to the Run for us, where there are NO dogs, and thus no stupid owners. *sigh*
