Think of them, think of them fondly

Ray Weiss fears a repeat of 11 years ago, when a Rottweiler hopped a fence and fatally mauled his miniature Schnauzer, Pepper.

It's kinda how I fear a repeat of 19 years ago, when a baby duck threw up on me and completely ruined my super-cute blue dress. But now I don't live in fear, because of the stricter restrictions for pit bulls and Rottweilers ( Read more... )

Yeah, that's what I'd like to know! What if it had been a child who jumped the fence and fatally mauled his miniature Schnauzer, Pepper!
Bwuhahahaha!

WTF? PeTA endorses this because it eliminates chains?? Because a dog that is inside a fence is soooo much less likely to become unsocialized and run off and attack? And only rotties and pit bulls become unsocialized due to chaining, you know, akitas and labs and chows and whatever other "dangerous" breeds are a-okay. >.< That one owner guy still kind of sounds stupid - a dog doesn't "know" to not leave the yard, its owner supervises it while in the yard so it doesn't leave. If it means a leash, fine, if it means 100% perfect recall, fine - but a dog that is ignored outside isn't going to have either of those.

When I was about 3 years old, I was playing, unsupervised, on the front porch of my grandmother's house in Kentucky. The next door neighbors had a GSD. The GSD jumped the fence, came onto the porch, and proceeded to chew/maul me until my screams brought both the neighbor and my family. I ended up having to have surgery to fix my left eye and the injuries to my legs. At the same time, my grandmother owned yorkies. She had one dog named Pepper, that absolutely hated me. I would sit at the kitchen table to eat and she would bite my toes and growl at me from beneath the table ( ... )

I'm sure it's because Mina's photon-death ray eyes killed whoever saw her picture. She has mad skills like that.

BWWWAAAHAAAAAHAAAAA I AM IMMUNE!

PETA will support any bill that makes it more difficult to own pets, because PETA does not believe in pet ownership at all. They will do anything, including kill animals, to keep them away from pet owners.

So, it's not that PETA hates pitt bulls and rottweilers, it's that PETA hates pet ownership. It's not Mina they hate, it's you, and if they have to kill Mina to liberate her from you, they will.

That's why I don't like PETA.

ever notice how media treats PETA like insane freaks until it comes to BSL? Add pitbulls to the equation and PETA is suddenly reputable and reasonable.

Hrm.

I feel that someone deserves a swift kick to the pants for this.
