Holy Diet of Death, Batman. Owner gets dog from a pet store "breeder" and feeds it boiled chicken and low-fat (OMG YAY! That makes it safe, right?!) Dannon Peach Yogurt. I don't have access to post in the cathealth community. So now I am doubly frustrated (I am not listed as a "friend!" *sad* =( ).

...so I'll do it here:

Endangering cat outside: if you actually read the post you'd have read he snuck out on rare occassion.

You know. All three lines of the post, in which nothing was said about how the incident occurred.

But we're just a nice family that loved it's cat & the breed. They are not only in my opinion the most beautiful cats but also very intelligent. I, again personally, see no problem with intentionally breeding a litter here & there to produce wonderful offspring.

Strange... I'm having an epiphany. Seeing as how any backyard breeder or puppy miller will consider themselves a "nice person" and obviously being a nice person makes it alright for you to breed... we should start having nice person contests. Yeah! And only people who are actually nice will be allowed to breed! Damn Blaidd... we're out...

thank you again for a knowledgeable reply but if you read any of the followups you will see that my cat was indeed a pedigree and would have been purposefully breed when the neighbors cat matured (was only 11mo right now). This breeding episode was an accident.

I love how "we were going to breed anyway" makes it all alright. That negates it being an accident, negates the lack of knowledge, negates that it still adds to the overpopulation problem... it's alllllll okay because WE WERE GOING TO DO IT ANYWAY.

Jesus Christ, Blaidd... spread out the stupid so we can have separate posts, eh? I almost died going through this one. I killed the brain cells that remind me to breathe.

I'd say to join, but that place is chock full of idiots.

cathealth itself is about to be removed from the spo_prevention profile as I don't feel that they're as concerned with cat health as they are with not hurting anyone's precious little feelings when it comes to causing a pet's death.

That place is a fucking joke.
