so this is the way i'm going to fix my problem. well not so much problem as my inability to write anything readable in this journal. so instead of shooting for 100%, i'm gonna shoot for like 3 days out of 7 or 42.9%. that seems do-able, right? ha, i say it now but watch if i don't write until next week and i'm at 14.3% but enough about my plan, let's get to some of the good stuff.
i'm talking 4 classes and have 2 jobs. one of my classes, digital libraries, is going to be a bitch. we are making a digital collection of rare manuscripts for the karpeles manuscript library museum. so it is going to be very exciting but hard work. i'm taking young adult services which makes me happy because i think that is what i want to do in some nature. i'm also taking multicultural materials. hopefully it will help me open my eyes to different cultures and how libraries can service them. i'm actually very excited about it. then i'm taking management, online, which i'm not looking forward to but what can you do. one of my jobs is at lockwood and the circ desk, more same old, same old. my other job is at the place i did my internship last semester, the poetry/rare book room. i'm going to be doing lots of random things but it will keep me in the door with two very important librarians that i want to use as references for getting me a job.
so that is my story so far, i guess. i'm sure there is more but i need to go read some things for my YA class. hopefully ill write more on monday or tuesday. i'm pretty sure i'm not going to write tomorrow because it is championship sunday!
