Another way of feeling protected [Minho x Taemin] (SHINee)
Today at school I was bored, and since I forgot my notebook to write fanfic I had to start a new one. I don't know why but I like how Minho and Taemin look together :3 OHHH SHAWOLS ONE MORE WEEK FOR SHERLOCK!!!!

Taemin was tired but he couldn’t sleep. It was the noise of the thunders was far from pleasant so Taemin was lying on bed, his eyes totally open, waiting for the storm to stop.
Taemin wasn’t too bothered by this. Besides the sounds that the storm produced he could hear the water running down the walls, the wind rushing through the window and Minho’s snores. Taemin liked those sounds, specially the last ones.
Having Minho as a roommate had forced Taemin get used to his snoring. At first he couldn’t stand it but Taemin had learned a lot of Minho’s mood by his snores and now hearing them made him feel safe. Taemin had learned that when Minho took a nap his snoring was practically inaudible, but if he was worried Taemin could hear him shift on bed between every snore (and Taemin couldn’t help but laugh at that). Also when Minho’s snores were too loud it meant that Minho was really tired, Taemin was pretty sure that this was the case.
Taemin turned to see Minho, who was sleeping facing down. Taemin looked at him, trying to remain calm as the thunders kept falling. He looked at Minho’s peaceful expression, trying to focus on that, but when a huge explosion rumbled at the distance Taemin couldn’t help but moan and close his eyes.
“Is something wrong?” he heard Minho ask with sleepy voice. Damn¸ Taemin though, remembering that he was a light sleeper. Taemin took a deep breath before answering.
“Everything’s fine” he mumbled “Go back to sleep”
Minho rubbed his eyes and sat on the bed.
“How long have you been awake?” he asked Taemin, who shrugged.
“A couple of hours, I guess” Taemin said “Seriously Minho, everything is fine”
Minho smiled, noticing that there was something that Taemin didn’t want to tell him.
“Are you afraid of the storm?” he tried to guess. Taemin shook his head
“It’s more like I don’t like thunders” he said. Minho nodded.
“Then come here” Minho said patting his bed. Taemin looked at him, confused “This way you’ll be able to sleep”
“I’m fine Minho” Taemin said frowning “It’s not necessary”
“I know you’re scared Taemin” Minho said with an encouraging smile “You’re shaking”
“I’m not” Taemin denied, hiding his face and shaking hands behind blankets. Minho sighed and stood, waking to Taemin’s bed.
“Fine, then I’ll sleep here with you” he said, slipping on the bed. Taemin looked at Minho surprised, but immediately looked away blushing.
“You don’t have to do it” he stuttered. Minho embraced him, drawing him close to his chest.
“It’s fine” he mumbled while caressed Taemin’s hair “I’m here for you and you know it”
Taemin smiled happily and closed his eyes, concentrating on the caresses of the older one. the rain was still falling and the thunders continued to rumble, but now Taemin didn't care.
As he began to fall asleep Minho kissed his forehead.
“Minho?” Taemin mumbled almost asleep “Thank you”
Minho chuckled and closed his eyes, quickly falling asleep. Taemin had his head leaning on Minho’s chest and he could hear his snores. And that sound made him feel protected.
