In the interest of occasionally keeping an electronic chronical my life, I will tell you that I had a great weekend.
Friday was lots of drinking with lots of friends which is, kind of, how I want to end all of my weeks. Nothing exciting, just Remedy and scotch and beer and bullshitting.
Saturday was errands in the afternoon and then Brian and I had an awesome date. And when I say "date" I mean that I dragged him to a show no one wanted to go to except for me. I had considered skipping the show and I am so glad that I didn't.
We went to Yo Rita's for dinner and, while the service was pretty much horrible, the food was pretty much delicious. And our food did get to us in a timely manner, so that part of the service was fine. We just didn't actually see our waitress for more than 5 seconds, never got the water I asked for or asked if we wanted a second drink. Whatever, the fried oyster taco was slightly heavenly, so I will forgive a little crappy service.
Then we went over to Club Cafe (where I seriously haven't been in 6 or 7 years) for Langhorne Slim.
The opening band was April Smith and the Great Picture Show and, despite the rather lengthy and hard to remember name, they were really fun and adorable.

And then Langhorne Slim was amazing. I mean, really amazing. It was such a great show. I have not a lot more to say. They just put on a great live show, tons of energy, lots of interaction, just plain fun.

Then football on Sunday, how could things get any better? Ok, it would have been better if the Steelers were still playing football, but it is what it is.
