(no subject)
sometimes i don't understand where time goes...my 2 month long break flew by so fast that i wasnt able to accomplish even half the things i had planned to over it. and i still have a ton of work left to do for an assignment due the end of this month. >.<
john and i went on a cruise for 9 days, we went with terry and alex...it was fun despite the incredible rockiness of our room (which was in the very very front of the ship) and 3 of the 4 of us getting sea sick. i decided that i need to somehow fall ass-backwards into huge amount of money so that i can buy a little shack in St. Thomas...cause it is the perfect pirate island, and where better to live up to my heritage and build up a pirate fleet and take over the Caribbean? i mean....you heard nothing *shifty eyes* so yea, st. thomas was awesome. we went snorkling in Grand Turk and i got to hold a sting ray...which was cool and we are now friends. i will be sending him a basket of assorted fruits on Christmas...we promised to keep in close correspondence. went to Puerto Rico too, saw an awesome old fort and our cab driver/tour guide dude took us to the capitol building and we got to go in rooms we probably werent really supposed to go in but he was friends with the people who worked there. so that was pretty nifty. too bad we didnt get to go on any of the rain forest hikes, but we saw a huge iguana and a few skinks...so i guess i'll have to go back there some day to try to see a coqui, lol. we went to bermuda too, but it was raining so we didnt get to do much.
what sucks though, is i had to miss my brother playing at Warped tour :( but i heard they did great, so grats to them.
ok, enough cruise rant...in other news...The Simpsons movie was AMAZING.
here's a good way to start feeling that old biological clock...2 of my friends just got engaged...a few months ago, another couple i know got engaged....and next month Jen is getting freakin married. holy jesus whats up with everyone tying the knot all of a sudden? so grats to everyone on that...even though the only one who reads this is jen, lol.
i have Laire this weekend which makes me uber happy.
2 more weeks and my summer break is over :(
