working at stater bros has been one hell of an experience...i started on thursday and worked 8 hours..and i've worked three straight 8 hour shifts and its freaking killing me..my legs are so sore from all the walking i do..on my first day i was told that i would walk a minimum of 3 miles on a full 8 hour shift...and they werent lying
as a courtesy clerk my duties include: bagging/walking old people to their car/picking up trash in front of the planters/changing the trash bags/sweeping the whole store/windexing the frozen area/collecting shopping carts from the parking lot/and playing in the docking area
i met quite a few cool people...everyone is nice there..i even met a short, loud girl named nancy in the docking area and shes real cool..she taught me how to work a hand crane and i lifted 500 pounds worth of water!!!
for minimum wage its a good job..its not hard just physically demanding...im also able to keep my other job at chinese school...so score!!
the only bad sides about working is coming home with sore legs, and missing out on activities with friends..oh yeah come visit me at work!!!
