Gwen looked at the line of mechanical horses, then at the bundle of captured Forever Knights, then at Grandpa Max. “Maybe just one-?” she suggested hopefully. “This one doesn’t look too broken.”
That was when Ben stepped on the mechanical horse in question, crushing it like an empty tin can. “Whoops!”
“Sorry, honey,” Max said consolingly. “But I’m not sure where we’d put it anyway.”
