Title: Long Suffering
Universe: That Damn Mpreg
Rating: PG-13
Summary: Sometimes, it seemed like the universe was out to get Sean Cassidy-Guthrie.
Sean Cassidy-Guthrie had the kind of looks that his Aunt Paige had once described as ‘perpetually long suffering’. It was a look he’d come by honestly, as the eldest of a car load of siblings and a busload of cousins. he was forever stuck with the title of The Responsible One (except in his Uncle Jay’s household, where he was The One We’re Nice To Because He’s Family, But We Don’t Approve Of).
His Responsible One reputation had carried over to Xavier’s, where he became The Guy You Can Leave Your Sister With, long before he’d even come out. He was the one who drove everyone home after a night on the town, the one who’s shoulder people cried on after a break up, the one who could be trusted not to take advantage.
This was why he currently had a piece of drunken jailbait slithering around on his lap.
“You want me, so why won’t you kiss me?” Zeke slurred, wiggling suggestively against the older mutant.
“Because,” Sean explained, trying to push the boy off and not being particularly successful, “you’re way too young for me, you’re drunk, and Guthries and Starsmores go together like potassium and water.”
“So?” Zeke asked sweetly, playing with the buttons of Sean’s shirt and looking like the physical embodiment of temptation.
Sean slapped his hands away, warning himself a wounded look from the empath. “Swear to God, when I find out who spiked your drink-”
“We’ll have a threesome?” Zeke suggested impishly.
Sean reached around Zeke and snatched his water off the table, promptly dumping it on Zeke’s head.
