“Someone please remind me why I’m doing this?” Billy groaned.
“Because we’re paying you, and because you want to keep an eye on your little brothers and keep them safe,” his mother said. “And you wanted an excuse to dress up for Halloween.”
“Like I need an excuse?” Billy snorted, adjusting his bandana as the doorbell rang. “That’s Teddy!” he said, springing off the couch and ignoring the snickers of his brothers. He paused a moment to straighten his shirt before calmly opening the door. “Hey.”
“Hey yourself,” Teddy said with a grin. “I see you went with the Gypsy costume after all.”
“The hair for the Wolfman look was too much of a pain. Okay, dweebs, lets go get your ill deserved loot!” Billy took advantage of the general chaos that always happened whenever his brothers had to go anywhere to study Teddy’s costume. “Are the fangs…?”
“Being a shapeshifter,” Teddy admitted, “makes Halloween costumes a lot easier.”
