The Campaign Log of a Certain Set of Whiskers

Day 11

Day eleven passes, and I have felt it necessary to drop the dead weight, so to speak. There were certain members of our party who were serving no purpose but to drag down the performance the rest. To the tireless fellows who remain, I plan to give further incentive , the nature of which will be decided upon by myself as the evening progresses. With every passing day, the headway of the left flank is belittled by our own, which will not suffice. Either Captain Fernly needs to catch up, or we shall be forced to obtain symmetry by other means, namely the destruction of the difference in progress on our own right. That is not to be tolerated, and if Fernly continues in his ineptitude, I shall be forced to recomend his removal from the project. Such would be a grievous setback.

Signed Captain Gerard, Right Flank
