Been a while
It's been a few months since I've updated eh? ...and I was doing so well.
It's about 12:42am and after about 4 solid hours of tossing and turning, I finally got up and gave in to myspace, email, and livejournal checking. Why can't I sleep?!?!
It's been a trip. Thursday night was spent in SanJose reliving your somewhat average college behavior of getting absolutely hammered with the people you love (or like in the co-worker sense...we ain't bonded that much yet!). HOWEVER, Friday morning unlike my "younger wolverine-like recovery" days was full of regret and "I'll never do that again!" sentiment. So much for a productive Friday in the good old conjugation department. The funny part was my supervisor (who was supposed to come out with the rest of the coworkers) was like, "Man, you can't even fake the funk and lie about where you were and what you did last night...!"
Then I tried to lie and say I was a tad bit late due to a "doctors appointment" of which she laughed at my sorry hung-over butt! Keep in mind the whole company pretty much had the same ill-"what the heck did I do that for" feeling. Yuck. No more stupid moments for Arleene.
Friday after a lengthy, much needed nap, I got to reunite with my former playmates of last summer/last year including the crazies of the Valdora household (Mikey PootyKang Lee and Clarissa (claridia), Abie (welcome back partnerd!), Lanska, Fung, Dave (the dirty silva), Dianna and a few others. How I miss them! After graduating and my other loved ones left me last summer (no resentment really), comfort and another pseudo-home was found with those folks. It was nice being together again but mixed-emotionee knowing that things once again would never be the same with Clarissa leaving for NY and the rest of us "doing our own thing" whatever that may be. Another chapter closed ya know?
Speaking of old beautiful friends, a few weeks ago I took a trip to LA for three reasons...
1)Christine Mach
2)The rest of my beautiful friends who I haven't seen in SOO SOO LONG!
3)MickeyMouse and his land (50 glorious years of existance!)
It was such a great time full of laughter, reminiscing, and just feeling so so comfortable and happy. Like how one feels with family ya know? Anyway, twas a great time! (Can you say 3 hours of sleep total out of like 4 days?!?!?) That SH*t was Bananas!
My incredible parentals...aka the P-Units are awesome. Nuff said really. My mom hooked it up with some siou-pow (HOW THE HECK DO YOU SPELL THAT? show-pow? shau-pau?) YUMMY. And their big FIRST meeting with the Posas family is over. Let me tell ya, how cute was it seeing Melinda's mom and my Mommy taking a stroll side by side wearing matching khaki hats to the church where my brother and his fiance would be married! NUTS I tell ya! That was good food, good people, and good wine. Cheers to the happiest couple on earth and their INCREDIBLE-Super families! (that would be me included haha).
Okay, I'm done. Oh yeah and Freddy if you're reading this, keep emailing me...it gives me something to look forward to at work!)
