Dorian’s Parlor is a Steampunk event held at the Ormandy Ballroom of the Doubletree in downtown Philadelphia. Dorian’s Parlor is a celebration of the Steampunk aesthetic, which blends history with the future and adds a healthy dose of what might have been. Patrons dance, sip cocktails, enjoy hors d'oeuvres and partake in a one-of-its-kind lineup of bands, DJs, dancers and high fashion from the foremost neo-vintage designers. Dorian’s Parlor is fast becoming a household name for those who love Steampunk and all things neo-vintage.
The September lineup features Eli August and The Abandoned Buildings, a fire performance by Little Miss Hollerhoops, the stylings of The Ak'ana belly dance troupe and Cello Mike will be there to move your soul with music. Your music will expertly mixed by DJ Coghead during a fabulous fashion show featuring STEAM WORKS and a special guest M.C. Mr Hugh Casey!
The next 21 event will be held Saturday, September 15th, from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m., in the Ormandy Ballroom of the DoubleTree Hotel, on the Avenue of the Arts in downtown Philadelphia. Admission is $25, and includes a drink ticket and hors d’oeuvres.
