Shitsuren Chocolatier episode 10
Souta wakes up and looks at sleeping Saeko wondering why is she here when she doesn't love him. He tries to make himself believe she is just worried about future but word believe makes him pause.
Kaoruko is coming to shop all the while staring at her yonmoji message. She finds Saeko cleaning displays which irritates her at first but Matsuri saying that Saeko knows a lot about love pops in her head. She decides to ask and two women sit for a chat. Saeko right away guesses message is sent by younger guy who doesn't talk much and whos job requires his attention trough February and March. Kaoruko fumbled to explain what they were talking about and when asked about replying cites magazines who suggest to reply later. Saeko finds it odd since if you want to answer you do it right away. Yup, if you do it later guy will also more likely not pay attention to answer right away. Kaoruko is interested what would Saeko write and get this reply: We'll talk about it in detail, right?<3 Lets grab a bite! When are you free? If she doesn't want to meet that person it is just first sentence. With heart. Ha! So not Kaoruko style! The most important thing is how Kaoruko feels about that person and if she wants to be loved by him. Honestly, Saeko says that kind of love, to be liked for who you are, is only in movies. Even chocolate is not enough to be good, you have to make it in cute shape to be noticed. If this guy falls for Kaoruko and they get along fine Kaoruko might fall for him too. Besides, love is like mountain climbing, you need to practice on other mountains to be able to climb mountain you want. Olivier finds Souta reading a letter from Bonheur chef, from that famous shop in Paris where Souta learned how to make chocolate. New shop will be opening and guy will be in Japan so he wants to meet Souta. Olivier discloses rumors he heard about Head chef in Bonheur wanting to retire and they are searching for new one. Olivier gets excited because Souta is for sure a candidate. Though he is not as half excited as is Saeko who is sure he will get position and promises to cheer for him. Then she realizes he will have to go to Paris but Souta asks her to go with him. She smiles. Picture scrambles and Souta opens eyes sitting on bed beside sleeping Saeko. If that is the thing to do to stay with her he will definitely take this chance.
Sekiya and Kaoruko went out. I know, i can't believe i wrote this. This time he talks tons more then first time so it is less awkward. Also Kaoruko is trying to follow Saekos' advice on how to act, what to say. Some of them are good(not to be negative about everything) and some are just so out of Kaorukos' character(flatter him). Also i bet even Saeko couldn't find anything to flatter Sekiya from his story about playing game on phone in bed with girl. Ok, now i am imagining Saeko and Sekiya talking to eachother... Pwahahahahahaha!!! Anyway in the end they should part so Love gurus' advice is to say: Today was loads of fun! Please invite me again! First part goes ok but then Kaoruko can't make herself say second part and ends up saying odd stuff. Lol! But then Sekiya surprises (everyone) with thanking Kaoruko for evening. He turns to go and she decides to change tactic. She asks if he will busy. He will not and since she will also be free, Kaoruko looks at him expectantly but he just excuses himself. This leads to self-berating and she gets even more frustrated cause of her train pass. She blames Saeko for making her act out of her character.
Next day, Kaoruko gets invited to Koyurugi house to eat crabs but gets told too late that Saeko will also be there. And no wonder,Saeko made herself at home and helped Dad out which earned her extra points. Not that he wasn't already completely smitten. Any way, Souta manages to out Matsuri and Olivier for wanting to go to Kyoto. He realizes slip too late but Saeko catches tension and turns it as them wanting to go and check out great chocolaterie there. She praises Matsuri for being good daughter and uses her charm to smooth situation so Dad lets them go. She even suggests working instead of Matsuri while they are gone. On way to shop, Souta wants to ask Saeko to go with him to Paris but chickens.

She is trilled and he counts things he thought of when making this cake: Beautiful body, beautiful heart and beautiful life. Those things are met in Erena. He also add thorns to remind her that when there is something hurting her it is ok to fight back. Not give up! Awww, that is practically same thing Kaoruko told her.

She smiles saying there is love where you don't have to be nervous. He kisses her... Kaoruko gets called by Saeko cause power is off in whole shop and she is panicked over fridge. Kaoruko rushes to shop and right away gets in damage control mode helped by Saeko. They do good job and can only wait checking out choco temperature trough night. While waiting, Saeko asks her about outing with Sekiya and will they see again. Kaoruko confesses of not being invited and asks Saeko if she doesn't find being "one to invite" pushy? Yunno cause men should invite. Saeko doesn't think that way. If no one does nothing about it, nothing will start. She asks Kaoruko if she wouldn't mind being asked to go out. It goes other way around. Kaoruko realizes she was looking down on people. She was living pretty sheltered, passive life. Power turns on. As does Kaoruko's shields. She berates herself for chatting like that with her enemy. Girls barely start working when someone bangs on shop door. Kaoruko goes to open and finds there Saeko's husband. He is angry claiming that one of his writers spotted Saeko in the shop. He yells for her to come out and before Kaoruko can make excuse Saeko shows up. Husband right away grabs her arm dragging her to the door ignoring her cries that she doesn't want to go. She tells him that nothing will change and he will keep not listening to her but he just yells at her to shut up and continues cave-man routine. Kaoruko puts a stop to this ordering him to let go of Saeko's hand. He tells her to butt out but after second of hesitation she tells that she is friend to Saeko. Awwww! As such she can't stand aside and do nothing. If he doesn't let go she will call police. Oh gurl, i never loved you more! After some staring Husband walks out alone and Kaoruko holds Saeko not to fall on the ground. Holding back tears, Saeko honestly thanks Kaoruko who silently comforts her. No grudges, no fake smiles.
