Hello everyone!
I'm new to this community and to livejournal as well! so please forgive me if i do anything stupid!
anyway, thought that i would write something since i do watch a lot of dramas...my drama watching career started when i was a child cos i actually lived in the far east where these dramas were commonplace. but i moved away to the west and stopped for about 10 years, but now,i can get back to my watching career again!
anyway, i remember all the Qiong Yao stuff from taiwan from the 80's and 90's, which were one massive angst fest...to those who love angst, you cannot go wrong with these...yes they are old and dated but boy oh boy, they pack a punch. put it this way, my dad, cried when he saw them! i also remember the old school japanese stuff like o-shin and momoe yamaguchi and that bloke she married! and there were these japanese dramas with tennis and volleyball players that had like super-duper techniques that made them invincible and stuff! the koreans were not big players at this point and neither were the mainland chinese. instead, atv and tvb from hongkong with their definitive versions of return of the condor heroes, etc. ruled!!!
so back to the present, among the new crop of dramas, i have watched
