Goong S - any thoughts?

I've been considering watching Goong S, due to my undying love for Goong, but I've heard very mixed reviews. Anyone have any thoughts? Is it worth it? I've heard that the beginning starts out very unappealing but that the latter half is a bit of a hidden gem.

I've also been posting like a madwoman about Proposal Daisakusen, and am terrible about x-posting. Those entries can be found here if there's any interest (entries are long, flaily and a bit incoherent)
