OH CANADA!!!
Last night was amazing. Chase picked me and Eric up and we headed to Terra's house because it was her birthday. We sat around in her back yard and talked about RANDOM shit... haha, then we went inside for cake. Terra had already polished off a bottle of wine, before we decided when we were leaving. I was a little worried at first when we said that we were going to leave at 8:27 and then ended up leaving at 9:30 instead, but everything worked out once we got through customs. I gave Chase $3 to pay our way to Canada. We had a little trouble finding a place to park. I rode with Chase and Eric, and we followed Marie's boyfriend Chris, his friend, and his cousin. Marie lent me $5 Canadian so I could buy a rum & coke and a gin & tonic at the first bar... I think it was called Pepper's. I had $2 leftover. Some of the guys played pool on a lopsided table, while the rest of us talked and danced in our chairs. The place was pretty empty, because the night was young, so we headed over to exchange our money. I exchanged $20 and got roughly $23 Canadian. I paid Marie back for the $5, and I still had $20 leftover. We headed over to another bar, which was nicer than the first one, but the drinks were rather expensive. I tried Terra's sex on the beach, which was really good, but I didn't want to dish out $5.50 for it. Chase got a screwdriver, and I tried that too. It was also good, but that was $5.10 and smaller than the sex on the beach. There was this manish-looking woman on the dancefloor with her button-down shirt opened and her boobs bouncing all over the place... she was putting on quite a show. One of the workers pulled her aside and told her to button up her shirt, and a lot of people booed the guy... it was pretty funny. After people finished their drinks, we headed down the street a ways. We heard about a bar called "O" being advertised twice because they had cheap drinks on Fridays, so we headed their. We walked inside, and the girls had to go to the bathroom. Chris ordered a rum & coke and it was only $1, but Eric and I wanted to do a shot of tequila, which was $2.50. The shot was really small, so we decided to get something else. Eric ordered a rum & coke, and I ordered two (double-fisted). I finished them off in about 5 minutes and walked back over to the bar. I asked how much the gin & tonics were (my favorite), and the bartender said $1. So, of course I had to get two (double-fisted). After the first gin & tonic my stomach was upset, so I laid down for a minute. I sat up, and my stomach still hurt, so I laid back down for 5 more minutes. Eric checked to see if I was OK. I said yeah. I sat back up and started drinking my second gin & tonic. Chris was sitting next to me, and I asked where he went to school and what he was studying. He told me that he was studying architecture at Detroit Mercy. He asked me the same questions, and I told him that I wasn't studying anything, but I went to State. He said that State was awesome. Then, he asked if I knew somebody... I knew the answer already... NO... because State's fucking huge. Next, I started asking him about music. He said he liked QOTSA and CKY. I hadn't heard of CKY, but I told him that I liked the Queens. He asked what I liked... I was wearing a Radiohead shirt, so I told him that they were my favorite band. He asked if I liked anything else. I said that I was kind of embarrassed to tell him my favorite singer, but I still told him that I really liked Björk. He was surprised, but he said that he really liked her too. He said that he saw her perform on SNL, and I told him that I got it on tape. He said that he really liked it because she was so good live. I couldn't agree more. I told him that I liked Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, The Smiths, and The Talking Heads a lot too. It seemed like we had a lot in common. We started talking about movies, and we shared a lot of the same favorites (i.e. Requiem and Boondock Saints). I looked at my drink, and it was gone, so I started having some of the ice cubes. I noticed that Marie, Eric, and Terra were on the dancefloor, so I put down my drink and went down to dance. I danced to a couple of songs with Marie, and then I went to the bathroom. I decided that I needed another drink. I got another gin & tonic and tipped the bartender $1. I sat back down and drank the gin & tonic. I went down to dance one more time with Terra and Eric. I bought one more gin & tonic and drank and decided that that was it for the alcohol tonight (for a total of 9 drinks). I finished it and we decided it was time to go. I carried the cup with me because it had a lot of ice cubes left in it. Eric had just ordered a rum & coke so we made him down it before we left "O". We started walking to another club, but then Chris and his friends decided it was time for them to leave. I looked at Chase and Eric and said that we should probably go too. Meghan wanted to leave too, so she went with us. Marie and Terra were in no condition to drive, so they decided to stay and dance for another hour to sober up. We went to Marie's car in the parking structure to get some things. We walked down the street a little bit, gave each other drunken hugs, and went our separate ways. Eric, Meghan, and I went to exchange what was left of our money into American. I got about $7 back. Chase said he was OK to drive, so the four of us headed back to the tunnel. We were a little nervous coming back into the US, but we didn't have any trouble getting through. I realized that I had to go to the bathroom, so I told Chase that it'd be great if we could stop. He said that he had to go to, but asked if I could hold it. I said that I'd try. After driving for about 3 minutes, my bladder was throbbing. It was one of the most painful feelings I've ever experienced. I told him that I needed to stop immediately. He said that it was a bad neighborhood... I told him I didn't care. I moaned for about 5 minutes until I finally convinced him to pull off the highway. Meghan and Eric said that we should keep going because they saw grafitti and some shady houses. We stopped at a red light. I said let me out. Chase said it wasn't a good idea. I said do it! He said to pee out the window. I tried to do it, but my body wouldn't let me. He said to open the door and pee out the door. I said OK. So just as I opened the door, the light turned green, and Chase said to hurry up. After he said that, the urinating began. I peed from green light, to redlight, to green light on my knees inside the car onto the road. I closed the door, they all had a good laugh, and we were on our way. Eric kept talking about RANDOM stuff... he kept talking... and talking... this kid did not stop talking. It was hilarious. He said that he needed to go to the bathroom and to eat something, so we were almost home, but we pulled into Meijer for him to pee. We convinced him not to buy anything because we just wanted to get home. Chase dropped Meghan off first because she felt bad that Brian couldn't come since he didn't have his birth certificate. He dropped Eric off next. Eric was still talking when he got out of the car. Chase told me to move up to the passenger seat so he wouldn't feel like a damn chauffeur. I got in the front seat and he drove me home. I said thanks for being the driver and good night (and what a night it was).
