so...
so... nothing really happened today... i did get a cell phone... but i probably won't be using that anytime soon. my mom and my brother tell me that i am not allowed to use it before seven on weekdays and that i should use it only in case of an emergency. otherwise, the concept of a cell phone is still pretty futile to me.
in other news... freshman year of college is over... which is both relieving and melancholic at the same time. i am glad i am done with worrying about how well i did on my finals, but i already miss all of the people i met this past year... well... most of the people i met this year. there are a few people i am glad i am without... ehhammmm... kristin dunn... WHOA... where'd that come from?!
anyway, yesterday, i went job hunting. i handed in my application from parks & rec. (which i hope will be my last resort) and i did an online application at target in the store... hopefully that one works out, because i know a few people that work there already. it would be sweet to work w/ katie and melissa especially.
i got my beck "odelay" vinyl LP in the mail today. i was pumped. i listened to it all the way through already. it is pretty sweet. the only bad thing, was that i thought it came with this fold-out poster thing, but i guess that was a different version of the LP. i am currently listening to my smashing pumpkins "mellon collie and the infinite sadness" triple LP. it is probably the coolest album that i own, simply because it is rare and there are three records. it also came with a sweet booklet with lyrics and artwork. billy corgan was/is a genius.
