Oh my Lady Gaga

So I haven't done a "life" post in a while, it's all been books and Doctor Who. Which, admittedly, is sort of my life.

Work is still relatively quiet. The students who I work with the most are all gone on study leave. They seriously get a whole month off before their exams to study. And they still complain there isn't enough time to take their SATs ( Read more... )

ramblings, freaky deaky weather, i have too many gifs, china nuttiness

Ugh, 88°F x_x"
One month of just for studying sounds nice, we just had five days off before and each day between exams. They weren't all that hard though.

Yeah I barely had study time in college, forget about high school. I agree though, high school exams were kind of a breeze.

My room needs to be 88 now...it's so cold in here. >_< I "officially" dub my dorm "Antarctica Hall."

If it's both hot and humid, I understand completely how you feel...China can get really hot and muggy in the summer, and so after wandering outside for a bit you begin to think of every running fan an mini oasis of sorts. xD

Well, it's pretty cold indoors. My coworkers keep the A/C on full blast and I'm sitting here in a cardie.

Yup, this weekend will be busy too. Heading to Beijing for my grandma's 90th.

One month is plenty of time, heck a week is more than enough! I took it my junior year of high school. With the SAT, if you don't have it by then, you're probably not going to have it.

It's super hot here already too. Spring doesn't really exist. It's like bam, Summer.

Yeah, the problem is that most of the students here aren't native English speakers, so they get really nervous about the vocabulary.

It's so hot today I couldn't bear walking out to get an iced coffee.

Whaaat they have a whole month off?? Not fair! :(

Ugh anything over 85 degrees is terrible. Last summer, I spent half my summer living in 105+ degrees weather with a broken AC in the apartment. I spent most of my time in the cool library, but alas I couldn't sleep there everyday. XD

Yeah, I would never be able to study with a whole month off. I'd goof off until a week in advance, when I'd freak out.

Agreed about the weather, luckily there is A/C in most places here. But when there's not? AWFUL.
