Butter & Taiko
Room = still not painted. Whoops! Maybe this weekend? If I get at least 2 walls done, I will feel productive.
Not like I'll have any time after that until December, because the Holiday Dinner's fast approaching and that means my evenings and weekends will be dedicated to work. I should be working now, but... meh.
You all know that Paula Deen is my own personal hero, and she's coming out with a line of frozen food that will probably be made entirely of butter. My friend who's producing this for her gave my office two samples of a frozen seafood dip that I do not believe is being sold in stores yet, so I GOT TO TRY IT FIRST, YA'LL. It wasn't butter, but it WAS almost entirely cream cheese, and I haven't met a cream cheese-based dip that I hated yet.
In other news, tonight is my first lesson with Ringtaro Tateishi, the former Ondekoza member (they are internationally renowned and they TRAIN ON SADO ISLAND OMG) who just decided one day to move to Bellevue and open a taiko school. He's coming to Seattle once a week for classes and by all that is holy, I will find some way to afford them.
