Hello all. I live.
I've been rejecting technology lately and have had enough of social networking, twitter, myspace, etc. Its all sick, sick, sick. What have we become? I am not drawn to these trends, and can't say why. I refuse to own a phone with a keyboard or touchscreen. I just dont WANT to be connected anymore. I don't want to share my life with the internet, and can no longer see why others can. Many people feel the same way I do - its just tech backlash. Here I thought I would evolve with technology and adapt, and here I am rejecting it. Part of me is bitter at the internet for forcing so much industry into obsolescence.
Maybe I'm just wishing for simpler times. I miss good old LJ. I miss the old internet. I don't like what the internet has become, yet what it has become is what I had always dreamed. Be careful what you wish for - you just might get it.
