Friday: It's a racial thing.
I hope you all had a lovely Thanksgiving, I did nothing and ate too much, none of it of the feathered and gobbly type, which I found a particularly satisfactory accomplishment.
I'm tickled pink that I seem to have traded places with the rest of the world for a day, waking up at 7:30, while everyone else gets up at 3am to line up at Target/Macy's/JC Penney
While watching the Incredibles on TV yesterday when they weren't overwhelming us with commercials for JC Penney, Macy's, and so on, a little Target stick figure guy with a shopping cart would randomly run across the bottom of the screen during the movie. They used to have skits on TV shows and movies a decade ago exactly like this, but it was only a joke then. I'm still laughing, it was a hell of a joke.
I was a bit surprised to find out that Walmart is the late one of the bunch, opening at 5am. I'm disappointed, they seem to have lost their touch.
