California was wonderful! My friends are amazing, and their friends are amazing, and my godson is beyond adorable. He's mischievous and just a touch bashful and loves being the center of attention, and he looks so much like his father. He also has what looks to be approximately a quarter of Pendleton wrapped around his tiny finger; if you have yet to see huge, muscular, marines alternately catering to the every whim of a tiny baby and being absolutely terrified they'll drop him, I highly recommend it.
Also! I have a tumblr theory! Everyone says it's addictive, and I've yet to experience it, but I think it probably works an awful lot like fic. To be specific, like oneshots. Because they're so short and so tempting and you know they're complete, you tell yourself you'll read just one. And then, well, it won't hurt to read just one more, will it? And once that one's read, what will it hurt to put off your homework for just another 10 minutes? And before you know it, you've wasted half the day.
Like I said, I don't know, but if I had to guess...
