freedom!!!
You know, whenver there's a break in the semester or it's over, I tend to title my post freedom. Or something with free in the title. =)
The past few days are like a big blur. I kept thinking on Tuesday that it was Wednesday and yesterday I thought was Saturday and I thought today was Friday. This is what lack of sleep and too much caffeine does to me, plus like 15/16 hours of Smallville. =)
Well I spent all day Wednesday working on my project with a few breaks here and there and I finished it at about 2:30 in the morning. I fell asleep around 3 and woke up at 7 and went to work. I was definitely in like a whole other place. Parents kept talking to me and I couldn't like comprehend what they were saying and had to ask them to repeat themselves. Then the theme for this particular day was blood. The previous themes have been head injuries and pee. Then I went to turn in all my stuff after class and I ran into so many people. It was great!! I love people!! Then I went to work out, then I had to go back to campus and get this dessert thing I"d made for work that needed to be refridgerated (it was a brownie, frozen pudding, whipped cream thing with butterfinger crumbled in it). It was quite good. Then I saw some more people. And then I went to Cara's. We ate and watched 2 episodes of Smallville, then the season finale, then Aqua, then 2 more episodes and finished disc one of season 3. But we were both out at like 10:45. Then we woke up in the morning and watch Smallville until 17:00. I wanted to come home before I had to go baby-sit. Then I went to baby-sit, got home around 11.
I woke up this morning at like 10:30. I pretty much wasted the entire day. I had planned on going to be a present for D-Rob and Christi Giles' wedding and buy something to wear for it, but I didn't. I did spend some time with the Lord and I finished the Da Vinci Code. The movie is going to be fantastic. It's a really good book. It's fiction and the fiction is definitely heresy. It's not true. But the book is captivating. I recommend it. Tomorrow the service is going to be all about the book, so I wanted to finish it. I bought some groceries. Took a nap. Watched some Smallville. I did get some cleaning done.
I have all this time now and I don't know what to do with it. I need to send out some more support letters and make some lists. And figure out when I'm going to Memphis for the wedding.
I got my definition of God back and I got a 98 on it!!! I was shocked!! But so excited. Not b/c look at how well I did but b/c I got another blessing from that assignment. And, to be honest, it will help my grade out. In seminary, especially, grades don't need to be so important and that's something I have to remind myself of. B/c what's the point-get a good grade or learn about the Lord? And if my focus is on grades-maybe I should re-evaluate why I"m in seminary. Oh and my project. It was alot of fun, actually. I really feel like I could speak at a weekend retreat about the Trinity. I even used some Smallville in it. =) And the slideshow to Father, I adore You with the info I got from people is fantastic. It was my favourite part of the project to do. I even give a shout out to those of you that helped me. =)
I'm so excited for people that are leaving for the summer. Not that I won't miss them, but I'm excited to hear about how God has used people and what He's doing in the world. I can't wait to get updates from people. Hey, I can't wait until I get to go!! =)
