Like Erin, I also really like Jenny's list of things that she learned. So here are my list of things that I've learned in the past 2 years:
1. You have the power to decide how you let the words and actions of others effect you. You are are the only who can decide whether or not you are happy, not them.
2. Sometimes things don't work out no matter how much you want them to. All you can do is shrug it off and move on, and hey maybe things didn't work it because there is someone better waiting out there for you. You'll find that person eventually, it just may take a lot of wrong ones first.
3. Laugh, cry, scream, yell. Live life the way that you feel. Let yourself feel how you feel and don't hold it in, because then you'll feel better later.
4. Mistakes are a part of life. You can't take them back after you make them, so why regret them? Just accept them, learn from them, and try not to repeat them.
5. If it's meant to be, then it would be.
6. The bestfriends are the ones that you can look at you and know what you are thinking without you having to say it.
7. Junior mints cure all.
8. Be yourself and not who others want you to be because they aren't living your life, you are!!!!
9. It's ok to be sad, to pout, to be moody, to be tired. Sometimes you aren't always happy and if you try to force it you will just drive yourself crazy. If someone is your friend, then he or she will respect the fact that you aren't always in a good mood. And if they can't, well sucks for them because they'll just have to deal with it anyway.
10. (This one is stolen from Jenny) You learn a lot by asking a lot of questions. People may think you ask too many questions, but they just might not be asking enough.
11. Everything happens for a reason.
