Alone in this world
with nothing left to give
fighting off fears
of being who I am

pushing too hard
losing my strength
bottled up emotions
tip the scale

Lowering standards
chasing something surreal
wanting a friend
that knows how to feel

no where to fit in
with a transparent face
I have nothing to hide
except being out of place
