Stephen Harper did NOT ask to prorogue parliament because of an important issue. Stephen Harper prorogued parliament to ensure he remains Prime Minister a little while longer. what are you talking about??? anonymous December 5 2008, 03:24:40 UTC
What you write here is absolute idiocy. Dion and Layton used backdoor policies to blindside the Canadian people with this, the equivalent of a school yard temper tantrum, because they lost the election. The only reason the Bloc have jumped on is to further their separatist agenda. If you think that the words separatist and socialist are made up to promote fear mongering then you are misinformed. The Bloc is a Separatist party self admitted, and if you can't see that the NDP is a socialist party then you have no business commenting on the political situation here in Canada.

Your response is ignorant and in that light, the pure idiocy in this thread. Dion and Layton's "backdoor policies" are a response to the juvenile and irresponsible acts run by a MINORITY CONSERVATIVE GOVERNMENT. If you want to make hasy assumption about "backdoor policies" think about the prolonging NO CONFIDENCE motions that Harper in his previous government thrust on the liberals. Over and over and over again. Harper is trying to run a government as if it's a majority, when in fact IT IS NOT. The fact that you see them lashing out in such a way liken to a school yard temper tantrum is equally ignorant; clearly you aren't aware of the policies and the dictations that Harper is stabbing at his people and the people (Making it illegal for women to sue pay equity). His agenda is not for his country but his egocentric and selfish agenda to "cut taxes" and "save money" (a crucial and notorious Conservative ideal); but what's the point in cutting taxes when there won't be any fucking jobs for them to benefit from? You want to cut taxes ( ... )
