That... that sounds pretty damn epic. I am very, very jealous. (Although I think a large amount of that jealousy is simply in the "I have seen Hamlet" part, really.)

PS: Because it is getting into the Hamlet spirit. (Sorry. Couldn't help it.)

It's a film, actually! A very cracky, amazing, 1920 silent film. Subtitles are in German. :P I could try to send you the file?

PS. Skal! XD

I'd say yes, but then I'd definitely not get any studying done for modern. It's probably best to at least not purposely increase my distractions if I can't willfully decrease them.

Are you taking any German classes? Because I totally learned some German watching this movie. :P Tod=death! Tochter=daughter! Prinz=prince! Gift=poison! (Ironic, huh?) Geliebte = my love (and guess what context it's used in)... heh. It's a shame nobody ever puts their subtitles in Latin, because I could get SO MUCH studying done... XD

Ha, not anymore, I hated learning a language (which makes me wonder how I'll survive if I actually go through with my plans to learn Latin), and I hated my German teacher, and I hated the work...
My mum's German, in fact. She's often insisting I should better learn the language, but as I said - learning languages = not fun, or easy. And yet, my aspirations toward Latin...

Latin, in my experience, is unlike learning most languages, because you don't have to deal with learning pronunciation and "Where is the bathroom?" and colors and touristy shit like that, which is in some ways good, in some ways bad because I WANT TO PRETEND I'M A TOURIST IN ANCIENT ROME! But they're not allowing visitors anymore. Wah. :( We didn't start reading anything real until halfway through the second year, but we got to read all kinds of silly little stories, like "Anna and the Bear" and "Latona and the Frogs", and Coriolanus, of course. :P

...Yeah. Latin is super fun, and in my experience Latin teachers tend to be THE COOLEST PEOPLE. So you should learn Latin. XD
