this weekend was highly eventful. allow me to detail:
friday:
[9:50] meet Jan and Patrick at Andrew's house. Drive over to Area 51. Patrick ridicules the cd I play. Jan tells an embarassing story about me. I try not to take a wrong turn.
[10:04] arrive at Area 51. make fun of the new alien theme. get angry that the band hasn't started yet.
[10:06] see people that Jan knows. go over to tell them hi. one of the people is a cute boy. hope that my hair looks okay.
[10:11] get pissed that band still isn't playing. see more people that jan knows. none of them are cute boys. try to impress them with my wit and charm in case one knows a cute boy that they might introduce me to.

[9:47] Drew explains that the last time he saw me, my hair was long and dark. this was over a year ago. i am shocked at his recall, but not amused.
[9:51] I give Preston his present. he seems not to hate it.
