My internet isn't working, so I haven't been on much. It's probably about time I paid off Time Warner and got internet the proper way :P
So what have I been up to...
I helped organize the Regular Jo fashion show for Summer (I picked the outfits, etc). It was a benefit for the animal victims of Katrina, and it was hosted by Kinky Friedman (which my parents were excited about). They came up to hang out with me and I took them to the Jackalope to eat...now everyone but the Fed has met my parents. Gotta do something about that!
I bought a ridiculously cheesy goth "halloween bar" the other day. It's basically a large black wooden cabinet with one shelf underneath, and atop the cabinet rests a metal (faux iron) trellis. It looks like a cemetary fence with spikes and a spiderweb on top with fake iron ivy all around it. At the top four corners there are candle holders. I turned it into an entertainment center. It's pretty silly, but I love it. Next time I move I may turn it into a vanity of sorts. I'll have to post a picture next opportunity I have. Annaka got a brand new camera, so hopefully that will be soon...
The last few days I've basically been trying to avoid getting strep. The Fed has it, and so do some people I work with. I'm super paranoid about it, but I've been resting and avoiding alcohol so hopefully I won't come down with anything. I was really worried that I was exposed to it on Wednesday, and I still feel fine. Does anybody know anything about that kinda stuff? Could it just be lying dormant, waiting to attack??? Surely I would be sick by now, right?!
Anyway.
Rawtime is tonight, cable channel 16, 2am. Kurt, Summer, myself. Funny stuff. Watch it!!! Speaking of which, I've met a few "fans" of the show recently. One guy has seen pretty much every episode lately. Weird!
Might go see the Adicts tonight.
I'm trying to think of anything else interesting to share, but typing it all out sounds like a lot of work. Maybe later.
