Happy 19th birthday (more or less). They told me at the shelter you were six months old, and that was in February, so sometime around now you should be turning 19.
You were the best Valentine Day's Gift I've ever gotten. The ex- who gave you to me is long gone, but you stayed. And stayed, and stayed, and stayed. And have been there to comfort me, to be my companion, and make me smile. You've been around for nearly half my life, and I can't imagine it without you.
I'm glad the Chronic Renal Failure has regressed. I hope that means you're going to be around for quite a while yet. I'll still continue giving you the sub-q fluids, and thank the Goddess every time I do so, because I can only do that for you while you're still here with me.
