openid logins just got a lot easier
i caught a glimpse of this earlier but it finally hit me when i tried the yahoo openid service.
this is big. BIG. openid logins just got 500% easier.
when presented with an openid login, such as on thingdango.com. you put in the url of your provider. NOT your openid anymore. in yahoo's case, a simple yahoo.com will do. thats it.
website openid login: yahoo.com
if you are already logged into yahoo.com, then bam. you're done.
you don't need to know that your openid URL is
https://me.yahoo.com/superfly991
you need to know that yahoo.com is where you keep your internet
credentials/identity.
