I had a pretty enjoyable Christmas. I was bested by a $40 toy text messenger walkie-talkie-esque thing, but just goes to show I'm getting old I suppose.
Work today was pretty useless. Half the department being gone lead to a staff meeting at MacGregor's (bar) for lunch. Can't argue with a free lunch and beers on the company tab.
So my game plan is to at least attempt to get some work done in one or two of my classes over this break. This means things like not working full-time hours at work (as if I were still in class). This is probably the best, since work probably won't be awfully productive until the new year. I want to work on my Senior Seminar assignments in particular as that seems to be the work that I would complain the most about later on anyways.
I've developed a taste for energy drinks. In particular I find the Mountain Dew Amp and Rock Star Energy Drinks to be rather delectable (There's your pre-essay SAT word of the post)*. Like my new use of drinking coffee in the morning, I've yet to notice any significant benefit to drinking it outside of taste, but that won't stop my from trying to find some perceived benefit.
*If you say that out loud it sounds a bit like you're stuttering. I know this because I've developed a bad habit of stuttering sometimes when trying to talk. This is not a problem when talking to someone I'm attracted to however. My mind-stuttering takes care of that situation quite nicely. :-P (eye roll)
