I'm thinking of starting to update this again. Just some sort of way to get things out of my system so I don't have dreams at night about work. Also will maybe get me to respond when people reply to my posts (sorry about that).
So right now I'm updating my programming environment on my home machine so I can code for my 2D video game programming class. I'm working on a team where we'll be making a fighting game somewhat like the Nintendo Smash Brothers games, but with ropes where you swing from platform to platform (Yes, I'll be having to open my AP Physics notes to remember my pendulum formulas). It looks to be a lot of work, but hopefully it'll be fun/look really good in the end.
I also have a senior project to work on. That involves creating a new Product Change Request system for our ITS department at school. That will involve me having to learn Ruby on Rails, which apparently is going to take over the world (or at least RIT). All I'm saying is, good thing I'll have a two-week break from classes to catch up on all this stuff.
On the work end of things, The project I'm working on will have a "deviation" beta release this week. Basically that means somebody just CANNOT wait for this, and even though for the most part I think it's ready, I keep getting this feeling. Kinda like how for a while it seemed like nothing was wrong and now "everything" keeps falling apart, and I can't understand why. Although I also think that I'm probably overblowing things a little bit. I seem to do that sometimes.
Oh, and my Senior seminar class may be interesting. The professor running it is definately Republican, which may not necessarily be bad, but I'm just unsure whether the class will actually engage in discussion or not. We're kinda talking about the UN, but really haven't touched on the good stuff, i.e. "What would it take to make the UN work as a supranation?" We'll see.
