Luke's 19th Birthday Party: They Don't Know What The Fuck Weekend!
after watching the pistons on thursday at kades and staying the nihgt, kade and i picked up dimitra and went to great lakes crossing to get luke gifts. kade was hit upon by an eagerhot topic employee, then we got lost and ran over a rock before getting to lukes. we chilled there all weekend and played some LAN games and watched movies. lisi, rob and i stayed from friday to sunday, while (little) dan stayed one night and kade stayed last night (since he had to go home for a grad party)
today i came home and took an awesome shower (i needed it) and began to go through all the pics, movies, and songs i got over the weekend. ive decided to make my own customized Full Metal Alchemist soundtrack CD, combining songs from the official orchestral score and some of the theme songs. the score itself is decdedly fast paced and melancholic, which fits very well in an anime which follows the exploits of two brothers who tried to resurrect their dead mother, only to revive her as a horrific inhuman mess. i could wax poetic about FMA, but all i really wanna sayis that the score is perfect for my mood right now, and i cant bear to listen to anything else. i tried, believe me. hard.
now lets see if i can get some sleep after 3 successive nights of 7am bedtimes
