Maybe this explains it.

Ok, those few people who are reading this now know that I don't really update this thing too often. I've made it as easy as possible to do so: I've got a good client, it's one click away from opening so I can just write down any thoughts that enter my head. The usual result is to ignore it, uncommonly I'll post a quiz result and very rarely I'll ( Read more... )

personally lj for me is the diary or scrap book i never had lol. that is basically it's a nice free writing forum where i don't feel the pressure of the proper writing conventions and just ramble on. and hey they say free writing does help keep your writing in check and may help improve it yeah? i guess what i'm trying to say is that when i kept a personal hand written diary i never kept it up much coz for me as a writer i usually write to be read (but then of course there are those inner private thoughts that you wish to commit to paper but never have read by anyone...therein lies the rub ( ... )

I think the problem is that I'm just not the type to go over what's been going on in my life. I have no problems if people ask me about things, even fairly probing questions and I'll try to answer to the best of my abilities, but I usually don't just volunteer information. I wonder if that's a good/bad thing? We'll see how things go. I like the idea of LJ, I just haven't found a way to make it work for me just yet.

You know, I told that whole gay/retarded story to a coworker at the dip shop (where I work these days) and it became one of his favorite sayings immediately.

I might just try posting about random stuff that I'm thinking about, seeing how that goes. I wonder how long it would be before I just start repeating myself?
