I totally agree. I was a little depressed when I left the theater because they could have done so much more with the characters they had rather than bringing in new characters just to show off their powers. Thanks Thu!
BUT DOES PHOENIX TURN INTO DARK PHOENIX AND THEN CYCLOPS SAYS "I LOVE YOU JEAN" AND SHE SAYS "AND I YOU, SCOTT, WITH ALL MY HEART" LIKE IN THE COMIX
I don't want to see this film for many reasons - chief among them sending a message to Fox that hiring Brett Ratner equals a smaller audience - but there's something completionist in me that says "I must." Dammit. If ever there were a reason for pirating a motion picture, this is it.
