So tomorrow I write. I hope. The cold seems to have finally gotten better. Not taking any chances, so I'm going to rest tonight. Still have to be up at 5:30, and still under the weather a little, so I figure rest is my best bet. Keep the getting well I have and hopefully encourage it to stick-really can't be too careful when you're anemic.
As for the goals, I've lightened the load a little: no crit, 5k instead of 6 since I took today off, will attempt to do 2 days of CR but won't push it too hard either (so 1 day is okay), and I plan to get to 34 round 3 but won't stress if I don't-same for the short. Don't want to stress it on a week when I'm getting over something. Plus the last day in school for the kids is Wednesday, which means a schedule shift this week on top of everything else. So, yea, I figure a lighter load is probably for the best.
I did manage to get most everything on my list for last week done: 34.4 holes are filled, over 6k in new words (and over 10 for the week), my short revised, a crit done, two days of CR. I'm now about 17k behind on my yearly goal (down from 20k behind) and have just over 24k for May and just over 139k for the year.
I'm feeling pretty good about my progress, and that's what counts.
