FINALLY ON SUMMMEERRR!
Ugh, I'm so excited. I have my computer set up, my webcam FINALLY here, and I'm going to start setting up my twitch account today.
Philidelphia was so awesome! OMG, i learned so much and i feel so reinvigorated about everything.
We didn't win either of our games, but I feel really proud of the way I played this weekend. We didn't move up or down in rankings and performed exactly as expected. I guess that's good? We played Boston on Saturday and Montreal on Sunday.
Things I learned/realized:
-I want to be Bonnie Thunders
-I love my team
-I need to become more aggressive as a skater
-I want to tryout for Team USA in 2016
Mark and Emma were there at the tournament and I had told them ahead of time that I would not have a lot of time to hang out because I was on my team's time. Someone paid for my entire trip because I wasn't able to go initially because of my final exam schedule. We got a new flight home planned for me and I couldn't ditch out on my team. It just made me feel like a bad person, but in my defense, he never asked me before hand if it was okay to come. He just kind of told me...
I've really needed this time out of town. It's been really helpful.
My dad picked me up from the airport and told me we're not out of the house yet. FML!
They have a 5 day extension. I was hoping we'd have everyone already out and less stressed by now. :(
