it's raining out.
the heater's on.

i went to feed the squids a few minutes ago.

they normally come racing down the hallway when i call out and rattle the tin ~ but there was nothing.

no squeaking.
no purring.
no pitter patter of tiny footsteps on the tiles.
so after madly searching all of the rooms

( ..i made my way down to my bedroom.. )

the kitties enjoyed their week in ballarat just as much as the vixen and i did..
