A Clockwork Orange, is one heck of a movie. The sex scenes are kinda random, and from what I hear, dont replicate the book very well, but it was good none the less. I really felt so horrible for Alex, although Alex was scum, who liked to rape, and kill people (damn ultra violence fiends...the droogies). But when the government started messing with his head, and taking his "freedom of choice" (Devo quote) you start to feel for him. The ending sucked pretty bad though. In the book, Alex actaully meets up with one of his old droogie mates (Pete), and fianlly realizes he needs to grow up. Didnt happen in the movie, which ended with some random sex scene in the sand. The movie is overrated (much like the trash Rose Maries Baby) but it was very good. It could have been better if it would have stuck with the exact story from book, but it is Kubricks perspective on the book...so I wont complain much lol I'll give it a A-
and BTW, the i noticed "Heaven 17" was mentioned in the movie...and came to find out thats where the synthpop group Heaven 17 got there name...lol. (In the movie Heaven 17 is a popular music group)
