Feral Darkness
The fine hairs rose on Draco's neck. Watching the shadow transform, from the slight silhouette of young wizard into massive, ferocious creature was both terrifying and enthralling.
It stood, rising with a howl that sent hundreds of black birds soaring skyward. The nearby trees swayed from the aftershocks of force.
It turned, and Draco sucked in a breath when he gazed into the slitted, molten eyes gleaming from the darkness. He swallowed as it prowled forward, muscles pulled taut across the jagged, furry body. Sharp canines protruded when it snarled, and he understood a moment too late.
Mine.
Harry pounced.
