i was supposed to start on biophysical chemistry this weekend, but mom bought a punnet of ripe strawberries so i had to think of what to do with them. initially, strawberry cheesecake was on the list, but we soon realized we had no lemons in the fridge, we had to improvise. this is my first attempt at making cream cheese tarts, there's a couple of modifications needed to optimize the taste factor, but i guess that would have to wait for another time. i've been slacking off on the baking front for the past couple of weeks, it's been a few months since i last posted anything bake-worthy, so trigger-happy me started taking pictures of the foodum. was filtering the 50 pictures and then settled on just 5. at times like these, i don't know what i'd do if i was still using a traditional point-and-shoot film camera. ninjar and jo bugged me on twitter to post some pictures, so here i am ._.
would probably substitute the strawberries with blueberries/raspberries/kiwis the next time i attempt to make these. as much as i love strawberries with cream cheese, i'd rather just limit my use of them in cheesecakes and custard tarts.
was watching fo ep. 45 and pride & prejudice (1995) yesterday, entertainment saved for the weekend. i'm done with about 75% of the list of movies recommended by the very helpful f-list and i have come to a conclusion as to what elements would make a chick flick appealing to me.
1.
colin firth has to be a cast member
2. colin firth has to be the leading man
3. colin firth has to speak in his sexy british accent
4. colin firth. period.
5. some hugh grant wouldn't hurt either
6. repeat #4
now f-list, any other chick flick recommendations? :D it has to meet all 6 requirements, thanks. *cough*
one last thing before i go, welcome Be dongseng
