kathygnome and I went to a
Slow Food event, with many of the same people (and the same chef) from the
local food event back in December.
The menu was as follows,
- Welfleet Oyster Stew with a pastry "package" of venison
- Assortment of venison shank, sirloin, roast and rib heirloom sweet potatoes with veggies & pomegranate infused venison jus
- Preserved pear, blood oranges, crusted almonds and cheese
And last but not least,
- Beet infused chocolate bread pudding, candied beets, herb braised Kumquats, beet syrup and chocolate ganache
- Chocolate truffles
