A Poll on Defriendings and Disagreements
It's that time of year again. Strong opinions are being voiced. People are making angry posts - and popping up in other people's journals to make angry comments. Defriending is in the air.
See, here's the thing. I have very strong opinions on quite a lot of things - but I loathe disagreements, and would always prefer to avoid an argument. It is very possible that you have defriended other people for believing things that I believe too - it's just that I shy away from taking people on in this way. If it was real life and just you and me, I might feel I had to say something, but on livejournal... just no.
So I suppose I really want to know is, would it bother you if I remained on your friends-list while violently disagreeing with some of your opinions?
It goes without saying that if, in the course of filling out this poll, you find that you really don't want to be around me, now's your chance. Defriend away, with my good will.
