Last week on Tuesday, I went all the way to Connecticut to see The Black Keys. It was so fucking amazing. I think Justyn & I were the only ones who were hyped. We were the only ones who were jumping around & going wild. I ended up standing in front of Patrick Carney's drum set. Goddamn was it amazing. I would of never imagined myself seeing them live. It's just one of those daydreams you have when you're listening to a band on the train. You close your eyes & just pretend that you're at a show. They came to your city. You were able to afford it. You were able to get there early for a good spot. All of sudden, there they are. Right in front of you. These people have created something so beautiful & were able to connect with you through music. Hopefully, I'll get to see more bands that I love throughout the rest of the year.
Yesterday was actually an okay night. I had the day off & I rarely have Saturday's off. So, because I didn't know what to do, I just stayed home all day. LOL. At night, however, my brother took me to Uno's on Steinway. I met his girlfriend and her bestie. I actually got along with her bestie more 'cause we're really a like. His girlfriend is more on the quiet side. Regardless, she's still nice. I like her better than his ex. At Uno's we had the shittiest waiter ever. He forgot to bring me my coffee & my brothers. I understand that you might have forgotten -because I did that when I first started waitressing- but, I always apologized for making the customer wait. I don't know. I just didn't like his attitude overall. We just gave him a dollar for a tip.
After Uno's we went to go play pool. I had a beer and a half. I don't really like playing pool. I have to be in the mood for it and have to be with the right people to play.
I'm almost finished with The Catcher in the Rye. I haven't decided if like or not. I think I have to wait until I finish it to decide. Although, it's entertaining as hell.
I have also made the decision to start working out. I'm tired of having this little belly of mine. To be honest, I just want to look good naked.
