A 21-year-old Davie man has confessed to stabbing his wife to death, according to police.

Daniel Palcu is charged with second-degree murder for the slaying of his wife, Christie Palcu, Davie police spokesman Lt. Bill Bamford said.

Palcu, who works as a tennis instructor in Boca Raton, murdered his wife shortly after midnight Thursday in the efficiency the couple shared at 4100 S.W. 95th Avenue in Davie, Bamford said.

Shortly after stabbing his 26-year-old wife multiple times, Palcu wandered down Southwest 95th Avenue to a neighbor's home and banged on the door, police said.

Palcu, naked and covered in blood, told the neighbor that ''something has gone terribly wrong. I did something terrible,'' Bamford said.

The neighbor, who lives near the 4300 block of Southwest 95th Avenue immediately called police.

When officers arrived, they found Palcu wandering around the street, speaking incoherently.

Inside the apartment, police found Christie Palcu lying naked in a pool of blood. None of the neighbors, including the homeowners next to the small efficiency, heard any disturbance, Bamford said.

Yellow crime scene tape blocked the dead-end street for hours while crime scene investigators gathered evidence from the bloody apartment.

Neighbors, who told police that Daniel Palcu had been acting a little ''wacky'' the last couple of days, stood outside their well-maintained homes and watched as police combed the street for any evidence.

''It's a little daunting, a little troublesome,'' said Michael Axelrod, who lives a couple of homes away from where the murder took place.

Davie Police have received a murder confession from Daniel Palcu, after his wife was found dead after being stabbed several times in the couple?s efficiency.

Palcu showed up Wednesday morning at a neighbor?s house at 4100 SW 9th Avenue, naked and covered in blood. He asked neighbors to call police immediately because he had just committed a horrible crime.

Inside the efficiency at 4300 SW 95th Avenue police found the dead body of Chrisie Palcu, 27, Daniel?s wife. She had been stabbed multiple times and was dead on the scene.

Lt. Bamford told CBS4?S Nefertiti Jaquez that the couple rented the efficiency together. Daniel worked as a tennis instructor in Boca Raton, while his wife worked as a ranch hand where they lived.

There is no history of domestic disturbance calls at this location and neighbors say they didn?t hear any kind of argument.

Police are now trying to figure out what led to the deadly stabbing.

Neighbors do say Palcu was talking incoherently and walking the street after the crime occurred.

Police are charging Palcu with 2nd Degree Murder after he confessed to the crime.
